I think that’s what I made for breakfast this morning (well, I made it last night). Before all that though, I started with a run: IT WAS AMAZING! I decided lying in bed last night that I’d do 5miles – 1 slow, 1fast, 1 slow, 1fast, 1 slow. So I woke up with a mission
I fueled up with hot banana, a cheese square, and a piece of chocolate from my stash:
Don’t let this picture fool you – there’s a tuppaware box full of chocolate underneath the selection box, and a big bar of Guylian underneath the two on the left
I eat a lorra lorra chocolate!! Anyways, the stats for my run went as follows:
- Lap 1 – 8.24
- Lap 2 – 7.19
- Lap 3 – 8.50
- LAP 4 – 7.03 – almost a 7minute mile! That’s a personal best (at least since I’ve had the garmin, but I don’t remember running that fast for a full mile)
- Lap 5 – 8.34
- Lap 6 – 220m – 1.10
aahh I was happy after that
total running time was 41mins cos I did the extra to get home. I celebrated by having a tsp of granola. As you do.
Here is my lovely post-run glow:
(Yes, I’m pulling a goofy face, because I don’t really want to post what I really look like on here
not this close!)
I’m considering taking myself out again when I get home this evening, to see if I can beat 7mins03…..it would be tough but I so want to try!!
So my amazing breakfast creation today consisted of: lots of this beauty:
My number one fruit of the moment, PAPAYA! and:
1/3 cup oats, 3/4cup unsweetened soya milk, 1/2cup cottage cheese, a bit of spinach (what was left in the bag), cinnamon, a squeeze of agave and 1/2tbsp flaxseed. I threw it all in the blender…
Buzzed it all up for a lil while, til it looked like this:
Poured it into a bottle, and that was breakfast!
I drank that on my way into uni – Fast Food doesn’t have to be unhealthy! (I’m using past tense..but I’m actually yet to drink it – I’m writing this post then leaving, so I’ll drink it on the way
)
Then I’ve got 2hrs of cognitive psychology, followed by general uni errands – hand in homework, pick up notes etc etc – before I have a lovely glorious lunch; kind of a repeat of yesterday, but I had the other halves of everything to use up (plus yesterday’s was just like…AWESOME):
Roasted sweet potato, broccoli, 1/2 red pepper, spinach, cherry tomatoes, papaya, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and chicken, all drizzled with balsamic
DELICIOUS!! At least it will be when I get round to munchin’ it!
I’m proud of myself this morning, I’ve accomplished so much already – ie good run AND blogged my breakfast and dinner before eating any of it! Muahahua, I’m a well-oiled machine!
I have to dash now, I have to go learn stuff about the brain and how children develop – have a good day!

Wow what a creative breakfast – looks great!
I Gotta try a green monster!!
