Ok, yet again- it’s Wednesday night and I’m writing my breakfast and lunch post for Thursday, which I’ll publish before lunch (but after breakfast) on that day! CONFUSING! Seriously, it may only be 9.45pm right now, but my brain feels like it’s about to fall out from the pressure of thinking ahead! Anyway:
I did yet more DVDs this morning! The rather ridiculous snow meant running was not an option (unless I felt like a few broken bones or slipped discs – oddly enough, NOT on the top of my agenda this morning). So instead I ate an apple before working out to random sections of Davina, Ministry of Sound, Pump It Up…I like a bit of Mix n Match! I ate a tbsp of wheatgerm before I left for the long drive back to uni…(well, an hour seems like a long time this early in the AM).
Breakfast was another green monster - but with peanut butter this time! I combined:
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1cup milk
- 1 tbsp wheatbran
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp PB
- 2 handfuls spinach
in a blender…
…and blended til my heart was content!
However I only brought back one beaker to hold it all in…so out came the old pesto jar again:
It was DELICIOUS – a fabby PB taste was running throughout – sooo good…!!
In the background by the way, is the mymuseli mix my mum ordered!
It’s amazing, the container looks just like the mixmygranola stuff that Kath from katheats eats! Incredible.
Lunch was a pretty state of affairs; I had a mix of cherry tomatoes, blackberries (reduced to clear in Co-Op, hooray!) and kiwi:
Three beautiful bright colours – the more colours, the more antioxidants and other amazing benefits which you can’t see!! I was GLOWING with health after eating that.
I also had some broccoli and mushrooms roasted with garam masala and mixed with some soya mince:
As well as the last-but-one slice of cinnamon raisin bread:
That bread is sooo delicious
I baked it myself then sliced it all and froze it agggges ago; I was so happy when I discovered it hidden in a box in the freezer the other day!!
Anyway (I know this will be true cos my Wednesday self only has a short window in which to find a computer and publish this post between lectures :p) I must dash to my next lecture!!
I’m thinking a quickie run when I get back..who knows, watch this space!

Yum, I bet adding oatmeal to the green smoothie is awesome, I will have to try that when I am back in smoothie mode!
It gives it a great kind of nutty texture..it’s lovely!
